A fintech startup wanted to launch a crypto investment platform to provide digital asset management services for investors. The client wanted a platform that would enable them to handle investor funds and manage them efficiently. They were highly concerned about providing transparency to their customers, so they required a platform that supported this objective.

As many of their investors were beginners in using cryptocurrencies, they wanted a highly intuitive investor dashboard that would help them monitor their portfolio easily.

Based on our client’s requirements, the Fourchain team built a crypto investment platform. As our client said that their primary users were beginners to crypto investments, we decided to build an intuitive and user-friendly investor dashboard that helped investors easily track how their funds were used for investment purposes. We provided various sections to monitor the portfolio, amount invested, remaining investment fund, profit or loss details, and more.

On the other hand, we made a custom admin dashboard that helped our client manage transactions, commissions, investor details, update information on the investment approach they have carried out for each investor, and the results of the approach. Analytics were also provided to help the admin make informed decisions in their business.

Our client wanted to provide market data insights for their users, so we suggested incorporating the APIs of 5 popular exchanges, such as Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, and more. Also, we created a dashboard to view the order book, market price, and trade chart in the investment platform.

To facilitate smooth money transfers between investors and the platform, we have integrated a third-party fiat payment gateway. A large number of money transfers occur frequently, so by taking this into mind, we have implemented robust security protocols like end-to-end encryption and role-based access control.

Our client wanted a web and mobile interface for their crypto investment platform, so our team built a web application and an Android and iOS-compatible mobile application.

After the platform went live, the client’s team began introducing it to their target audience through focused marketing campaigns. Day by day, new users started joining the platform. As mentioned earlier, the intuitive investor dashboard made it easy for users to navigate and explore its features. Our client had received feedback from their customers, saying that the market insights dashboard gave them a clear and comprehensive understanding of market trends and helped them make better investment decisions.

One concern our client had was that they had challenges in manually updating the investment reports, which included information on the investment approach, the exchange on which they traded, the cryptocurrency they had invested in, and profit and loss details. Build the Crypto Investment Platform

Initial Consultation

Our sales team initially had a discussion with our client and gained insights into their requirements. After that, our sales team and developers discussed together and drafted a clear plan on the tech stack to be used, features to be integrated, and platform architecture.

Development Stage

After finalizing the development approach, our developers started building the front-end and back-end architecture simultaneously. We built an automated investment tracking system to automate the process of updating the report. We integrated popular crypto exchange APIs into the back-end architecture to provide market data insights. To streamline payments, we integrated a third-party crypto payment gateway into the platform.

Testing

We pay attention to every detail in the platform, and that’s why we prefer testing the platform both manually and using automated testing tools, like Selenium. Our testers navigated through the platform interface and conducted manual testing. Glitches were rectified immediately to ensure smooth functioning. Automated testing using Selenium was carried out to test the coding architecture of the platform. Bugs were determined and rectified to maintain accuracy in platform operations.
